Pathways to Whole School Development project
PEDN together with Aflatoun International and Opportunity International – EduFinance are implementing the Pathways to the Whole School Development (WSD) project across 35 secondary schools in 8 districts (Kampala, Wakiso, Mukono, Buikwe, Mityana, Mpigi, Iganga, Tororo, and Butaleja & Mayuge), reaching 2,450 youth and 70 teachers.
The project utilises a Youth Social and Emotional Learning curriculum to empower young people with social skills that will improve their self-awareness, self- management and responsible decision- making in life. The project is funded by Opportunity International and runs in school terms one and two in 2019

- 2373 young people were trained in Financial literacy, Life skills and Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning (SEAL) in 35 secondary schools in 9 districts
- 2,373 teachers trained in 35 secondary schools in 9 districts.
- 35 youth clubs were established and supported by PEDN in 35 schools. A total of Ugx 10,020,600 was saved by young people in 35 saving clubs.
